The Unsubmitted Encounters report is a standard billing report found under the Billing Dashboard, in Reports. This report can be used to find any Encounters that have charges on them that are not patient responsible and do not have a claim submitted to insurance. If one charge was submitted to insurance and another charge was not, the Encounter will not appear on this report. Patient responsible charges on any Encounter showing here do not factor in to the totals.

Views:

• Summary – lists each provider, the total number Encounters for them, the total number of charges and the total amount for those charges.
• Detailed – lists each provider and further break it down and list each Encounter along with the note date, the date that note was marked “Charting Done”, the patient’s name, their account number, the primary insurance set for that claim, the number of charges (that are not patient responsible) and the total amount of those charges.

Filters:

• Date Range – only Encounters where the Encounter date is in the specified date range will be included.
• Locations – only the Encounters that are set to the specified location(s) will be included.
• Provider – only the Encounters that are set to the specified provider(s) will appear.
