This page will explain how to set up and use signature pads in TRAKnet.
Setup
TRAKnet integrates with USB-based Topaz signature pads; specifically, the integration was tested with the Topaz SigLite 1x5 pad. After purchase, you will need to install the appropriate drivers for the device, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. Once the drivers have been installed, the signature pad device is ready to use within TRAKnet.
PatientSignature Link
Signatures can be added to a template, form or visit note by inserting the «PatientSignature» link, which can be found under Patient Data > Misc Fields. Once selected, a pop-up will appear that displays a preview of the signature. Within this pop-up you can accept the signature, cancel the signature, erase the signature, or change the thickness of the pen tip.
Once the signature has been entered, click Ok and the signature will be inserted into the form as an image, which can then be resized or moved as necessary.
