Release Notes Update 1 2022

General Release Notes from the January 2022 update.

New Features

  • Improved update process
    • We have implemented a new update process. This new update process utilizes the Applife Update Manager, click here to download the application.
    • The Applife Update Manager will update the TRAKnet application automatically, eliminating the requirement for Administrator credentials.
    • The Applife Update Manager also prevents issues with the update by assuring that the update is properly installed each time. If the update is not properly installed the update is stopped and TRAKnet is rolled back, when this happens an error log is created to assist in troubleshooting the issue.
  • Auto Sending CCDA's and Visit Notes
    • When signing a note for the first time (per patient) you will receive a pop-up asking if you would like to provide the visit note and CCDA in the patients portal. While in the pop-up you can decide to select "continue" which will move to the next phase, or you can select "remember selection and continue" to have the changes saved for the next time you sign a note for this patient.
      • Additional Items:
        • We will auto check the "Make Available" boxes for you to start
        • You are required to state why you do not want to send one or both of these documents
        • If you selected to make both available and select "remember the selection and continue" you will not be asked again when signing a note for that patient
        • You can modify what you want to share by default from the patient demographics screen
    • Removing/adding access at a later time
      • If you choose to update the patient's access after signing a note, you will need to open the visit and select one of the two new boxes to make the data available or to revoke access
  • Updated Open Edge Integration
    • When using the Open Edge integration TRAKnet will only allow users to save payments with a successful response. This has become a large issue for practices so we have disabled this ability requiring the user to restart the payment.
      • NOTE: This will still be allowed for TSYS payments.
  • Denial Management Updates
    • We have added the ability for a user to mark a denial for follow-up. Along with this we can now add comments and set a follow-up date
    • We have added a filter to make it easier to focus on follow-ups
    • We added an audit trail so users can see the life of a follow-up. This will include previous and current statuses/comments
  • Auto Cancel Appointments
    • We have added a feature that will check if a patient has any future appointments after being marked deceased or inactive. If an appointment is found we will ask if you would like the system to auto cancel the future appointments
  • Insurance Updates
    • We have added a pop-up that will advise a user of a duplicate payer ID. When you receive this pop-up it will ask for you to either use the already created insurance, create a claim office or use a different payer ID
      • This feature will assist with preventing issues with downloading remits (Example: Unapplied Payments)
    • We have added a pop-up that will advise users that TRAKnet found a duplicate payer ID which caused issues while processing the remit
  • Denial Management and TriZetto
    • We have enabled the ability for users to utilize the Denial Management module with TriZetto.
  • NEMORx Alerts
    • We have created the ability for TRAKnet to Alert providers when they have Refill or Change Requests. Users will now see a change the "NEMORx Admin" tab along with a count
      • This is set to update every 5 minutes
  • Items Removed
    • We have removed the links to DocShop Pro and SpeakEasy
  • Patient Portal Payments
    • We have created the ability for Patients to make payments using our patient portal
      • Requirements:
        • TRAKnet Cloud
        • Open Edge integration
  • Token Payment
    • We have upgraded our integration with Open Edge to enable the creation and use of Tokens.
    • When making a payment you will see a Create Token Check box. When selected TRAKnet will create a unique token with Open Edge to be used for future transactions (if requested)
      • If you have a patient with a token the user will see a button that says "Use Card on File" along with the last four digits. If the patient wants to use this card you simply select it and the payment is made
      • Note: We are not storing the patient's credit card details. Only what is required to send a tokenized payment to Open Edge
  • Patients Height and Weight
    • We have added the ability for TRAKnet to update the height and weight in NEMO Rx when they are entered in the Vitals.
    • The height and weight will be updated to the most recent Vitals entry when the patient chart is opened.
  • Auto Set Clearinghouse
    • When adding insurances TRAKnet will now default to the currently used clearinghouse.
    • The insurance will default to Trizetto unless Availity credentials have been entered.
  • Gateway EDI SFTP Password
    • Gateway now requires the SFTP password to be updated every 12 months. TRAKnet now has the ability to update the Gateway SFTP password automatically.
    • TRAKnet will automatically update the SFTP password prior to the expiration date, this requires no user interaction.
