General Release Notes from the April 21st 2016 update.
New Features
- The Quality Measures report under Billing Dashboard > Reporting has been renamed to “Legacy Quality Measures Report”
- Implemented a change to Comments on line items throughout TRAKnet. Comments from insurance payments, pending and applied, and line items on encounters now share a comment system.
- Comments are able to be viewed, but not edited.
- Comments can be deleted.
- Comments will have a red outline if present.
- Comments are tied to specific line items on encounters.
- Implemented a change to the Patient Ledger.
- The Charges tab has been removed and is replaced by two tabs: Insurance Pending and Patient Responsibility.
- Insurance pending will show any line items marked as insurance responsible.
- Patient responsibility will show any line items marked as insurance responsible.
- The aging balance information has been moved to the top of the ledger.
- Implemented an Alerts and Tasks button in Encounters.
- Implemented the ability to receive Credit Card payments from Insurances.
- Implemented the ability to have multiple insurance checks open at one time.
- Implemented This Payer Only to be unchecked by default.
- Implemented the ability to sort headers in the Patient Responsibility tab of an insurance payment.
- Implemented an additional filter to the Treatments by Provider report.
- Implemented default filter settings for Patient Statements. This is located under Tools>Options>Patient Statements.
Resolved Issues
- Resolved an issue wherein taking in a payment on the patient portal would lead to an error page.
- Resolved an issue wherein incorrect dates would display when printing the invoice.
- Resolved an issue wherein Days Past Due was not filtering correctly in Patient Statements.
- Resolved an issue wherein two commas in the Vitals link.
- Resolved an issue wherein the ReferringProvider link was not updating the patient’s referring provider correctly in referral templates.
- Resolved an issue wherein the incorrect insurance was displayed on Batch Print Encounters Superbill.
- Resolved an issue wherein certain patients were not being included in the Collections and Statements screens.
- Resolved an issue wherein the report Patient Charges Summary – by Service Date was not returning data correctly.
- Resolved an issue wherein medications not recognized by the Lexicomp database would prevent all other medications from being imported to TRAKnet.
- Resolved an issue wherein Treatment Templates were unable to be updated.
- Resolved an issue wherein certain patient’s birthdates were displaying incorrectly due to the leap year.
- Resolved an issue wherein rapidly entering in CPT codes in a Visit Note would cause only certain codes to be entered into the note.
- Resolved an issue wherein a warning would appear if you opened two encounters with the same DOS from the Billing Dashboard.
- Resolved an issue wherein a blank tab would open if you clicked No when given a warning that you already had an encounter open in the Billing Dashboard.
- Resolved an issue wherein the Select Source button would be grayed out when scanning.
- Resolved an issue wherein opening two encounters for one patient would alert you that you already had an encounter open.
- Resolved an issue wherein the I Want To: menu would not always function.
- Resolved an issue wherein clicking a ICD-10 code in SmartSheet10 under the I10 Table view would not open the code on the tabular list.
- Resolved an issue wherein the diagnosis filter for Recalls did not function with ICD-10 codes.
- Resolved an issue wherein TRAKnet would not properly notify a restart was needed when altering a user’s User Name.
- Resolved an issue wherein duplicate claims were being sent to Trizetto.
- Resolved an issue where the highlighted yellow from fields would still remain after deleting the field from an encounter.
- Resolved an issue wherein the CQM report was not picking up ICD-9 codes without a period.
- Resolved an issue wherein the header could not be removed from a template.
- Resolved an issue wherein the minimum balance filter in Collections was not functioning properly.
- Resolved an issue wherein scanning would crash TRAKnet after several scans.
- Resolved an issue wherein TRAKnet would be placed behind other windows when scanning.
- Resolved an issue wherein incorrect page numbers were displayed in Batch Print Encounters.
- Resolved an issue wherein treatment codes saved an encounter the moment they were entered into the Visit Note. This now only occurs when clicking on the Invoice tab, or Saving the encounter.
- Resolved an issue wherein Dragon Naturally Speaking was interfering with the minimize button an encounter.

- Resolved an issue wherein the TodaysDate field would change dates when using the copy visit function.
- Resolved an issue wherein incorrect patient names would appear on the footers of exported encounters.
- Resolved an issue wherein treatments embedded into mini-templates were not appearing in the invoice.
- Re-implemented the Charges tab in the patient ledger.
- Resolved an issue wherein, under certain conditions, comments were not appearing on treatments.
- Resolved an issue wherein, under certain conditions, the patient balance was not being displayed in the ledger.
- Implemented the ability to expand or hide all treatment comments in the invoice and in the ledger.
- Resolved an issue wherein the an appointment's facility was not displayed in the details below the scheduler.
- Resolved an issue wherein the TodaysDate field would not populate in an encounter created from an appointment.
- Resolved an issue wherein treatments embedded into the encounter were not appearing in the invoice.
