Z_(Archived) Release Notes for April 13th 2015
General Release Notes from the April 13th 2015 update.
New Features
- A Past Appointments link has been created. This is located under the Patient Data category of links and will show past appointments scheduled for this patient once inserted into any template, as below:
- A new link for the second address line, Address 2, has also been implemented. The «Address2» link is found under the PatientFields category and will insert the second address line, as seen above.
- A simple view of the patient’s ledger has been implemented that is more reminiscent to what was previously in older versions of TRAKnet. It is now the first tab on the patient’s ledger.
- The Import function for secure messaging has been made more obvious with the inclusion of a Import Message to Patient Chart button, as seen below.
- Importing a secure message into a patient’s chart will now automatically document the patient’s direct email address if one is not already present.
- The Inbox tab will now indicate how many unread items are present, and unread items will be in bold. Please note: this change means all previous items will be marked as unread and will need to be read once more.
Resolved Issues
- Resolved an issue where under the list view of the scheduler the room column was populating with time checked in rather than room number.
- Resolved an issue where, under some circumstances, the print button on the reports screen would become grayed out after generating a report.
- Resolved an issue where attempting to move to another week of the Week view in the scheduler was, instead, jumping to that day. The scheduler will now correctly move through the weeks while remaining in week view.
- Resolved an issue where certain resolutions were causing the later days of the week to become cut off when viewing the scheduler’s week view.
- Resolved an issue where treatments carried over when using the Copy Visit function were not carrying over certain information and settings.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing the Appointments with Balances – Details report to not execute under certain conditions.
- Resolved an issue where the Last Encounter Date under the patient’s demographics was not automatically updating with each subsequent visits. Do note that as before you must set this field at least once before it will begin to automatically update.
- Changed the Amount field of payments to prevent for accidental scrolling while the cursor is still placed in this field.
- Adjusted the patient’s ledger to show patient name if Show Dependents is set to True, to help differentiate which encounters belong to the legal representative and which belong to the dependent.
- Resolved an issue where provider payments on the ledger were not showing the total amount.
- Implemented two new columns in the claims history: a Transaction Control Number, a number unique to that claims batch, and a column to show who sent the claim.
- Resolved an issue where sorting the columns of an insurance payment would result in an occasional error message.
- Fixed an issue where typing a CPT code into a template was causing an error to occur.
- Resolved an issue where inserting a mini template into an encounter with a practice header was causing the header to be deleted.
- Corrected a typo in the Time Clock Management screen.
- Resolved an issue where parent treatment settings, such as DME properties, were not properly carrying over when the treatment was used on an invoice.
- Resolved an issue where the actions > print button was not properly counting for meaningful use when printing patient summaries.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing the print button on applied payments from actually printing.
- Resolved an issue where user permissions were not resetting when using the Login as a Different User feature.
- Resolved an issue where updating the patient’s gender was then not updating the patient’s insurance record to have the appropriate gender.
- Corrected an issue on the patient’s ledger that was causing items from the 120+ days aging report to show in the 0 – 29 day aging report.
- Printing batch superbills will no longer print cancelled appointments from that day.
- The task list will now refresh every one minute, and tasks will no longer need to be completed twice.
- Resolved an issue where the yellow “show fields” highlights were occasionally disappearing.
- Encounters created from scheduled appointments will now default the scheduled facility as the facility on the encounter.
- The banner along the top of the scheduler will now properly display the currently selected day.
- The minimum payment link will now update to match changes made on the patient’s demographics.
