Quick Start - Scheduling

This page will quickly demonstrate how to use the scheduler in TRAKnet. Click here for a more detailed look at the scheduler.

Creating Appointments

  1. Select a time slot on the scheduler.
  2. Right click, Add Appointment or click Add, Appointment at the top of the screen.
  3. Set the provider, facility, patient, appointment reason, appointment date and length as applicable.
  4. Save the appointment.

Creating Facility Visits

  1. Select a time slot on the scheduler.
  2. Click Add, Facility Visit at the top of the screen.
  3. Set the provider, facility, appointment reason, appointment date and length as applicable.
  4. Click the Patients tab and select patients through the search or the recall list.
  5. Save the facility visit.

Blocking Times

  1. Click Block, Times at the top of the screen.
  2. Select a provider or room.
  3. Select a day of the week in which to add the block.
  4. Click Add and set the appropriate start and end time, the reoccurrence, a start and end date, etc. and then Save the block.
  5. Use Copy To to carry the blocked time to different days of the week, or use the Copy button at the bottom of the screen to carry the blocked time to different providers or rooms.

Blocking Days

  1. Click Block, Days at the top of the screen.
  2. Select a day to block, use right click to select multiple days.
  3. Select a person or room for the blocks, and select a reason for the block. If desired, add a comment in the Comment section.
  4. Save the blocked day.

Other Functions of the Scheduler

  • Print the scheduler by clicking Print, Print in the top-right corner of the screen. This printout changes depending on if you're viewing the day or list view.
  1. Change certain appointment defaults (e.g.: default facility, default appointment reason, etc.) by clicking Settings in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Print mailing or appointment labels by right-clicking on the appointment and clicking Mailing Labels or Appointment Labels. Print an entire day's batch of labels by clicking Print, Print Mailing Labels or Print, Print Appointment Labels in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Print superbill batches by clicking Tools, Print Superbill Batch at the top of the screen. Select a provider or room and a date and click Submit. After the superbills have generated click Print.
