Z_Archived Patient Portal Sharing URL

This page will show the user how to share their Patient Portal URL with their, a feature built into the admin portal of the Patient Portal.

  • The Share Portal URL feature is located in the administrator portal for your Patient Portal website. To access this easily, click on the Links drop-down menu inside of TRAKnet and click the Portal Admin Login link. You will be taken to https://portal.traknetpm.com/Account/AdminLogin.
  • Log into your admin website with the email address and password first used to register in the portal.
  • Once you have logged in, you will see the Share Portal URL link in the upper left-hand portion of the portal main page, directly under the Patients List header. Click this link.

  • After clicking the link, you will be taken to the Share Portal URL page. At the top of this page, your practice’s Patient Portal URL will be displayed in bold (e.g. https://portal.traknetpm.com/p/traknettrainer).
  • Beneath the URL, you will find an email template prepared for you that can be swiftly sent to a patient who you would like to register for the portal. To send this email, follow the below steps:

  • In the Enter Patient’s Email field, type in the email address of the patient. You may send this to multiple email addresses at once by separating all email addresses with a comma.
  • Finally, in the Signature field, enter the name of the practice’s user who is sending and therefore signing the email. This will default to the administrative user, but can be overwritten by deleting the name already present.

*To send this email, click the Send button. The patient will then receive this email at the designated email address, where they can follow the link included to register for your patient portal.
