Z_Archived Patient Portal Sending Patient Info

This page will walk the user through sending information from TRAKnet to the patient portal, specifically Allergies and Medications. These records will then be viewable in a read-only format for your patient.

  • To begin, search for a patient who has been added or updated through the patient portal. Please note that the patient you are selecting must have been accessed through the portal in some way – this is the trigger telling your system that the patient can receive information from TRAKnet.
  • Open the patient’s chart.
  • Document any changes in allergies or medications that may have occurred.
  • In the upper right-hand corner of the patient’s chart window, click on the “Send Meds/Allergies to Portal” option. This will open a drop-down menu with three options:
  • Send Allergies Only
  • Send Meds Only
  • Send Both
  • Select what information you would like to send to the portal. A message will pop up displaying the progress of the message being sent before stating that the information has been sent.
  • The patient will now be able to see that information in the Allergies/Medications portion of their portal.
