This page will walk the user through the online payment module of the TRAKnet Patient Portal, demonstrating how a patient will enter this information online.

Online Payment

After the practice has completed setting up the integrated online payment module of the patient portal, patients who have signed up for portal accounts can pay online with a credit card.

To make a payment, a patient will need to log into their patient portal, select the patient they are paying for, and click the Online Payment icon on the patient's record.


Once they have entered the online payment screen the user will be able to see their balance in the upper right-hand corner, view all past payments by clicking on the Past Payments link, or create a new payment. Upon clicking create a new payment, they will be taken to the TransFirst web portal.


On the web portal, the patient will need to enter their credit card information and address information on the web portal. Once completed, they will click Submit and the web portal will close, informing the user the payment has been completed successfully.
