The new TRAKnet Patient Portal was released on June 29th, 2018. Click here to learn more about setting up the new portal. The below information is ARCHIVED.
This page will walk the practice through how to customize their patient portal with custom colors, images, and text.
- After registering for the portal, you can easily access your administrator login by clicking on the Links drop-down menu in TRAKnet and selecting Portal Admin Login.
- After clicking the above link, your default web browser will open to https://portal.traknetpm.com/Account/AdminLogin. Enter the Email address and Password used when registering for your account, then click Submit to log in.
- Upon logging into the admin site, you can begin editing and customizing your account by clicking on the Edit Account link in the upper right-hand corner of the patient portal.
- Once on this page, you will have a variety of options for editing the account. A description of each follows:
- Practice Code: This will display the practice code, or URL, that you registered with.
- First and Last Name: This will display the first name and last name of the administrative user who was designated when first registering.
- Email: This will display the email address of the administrative user who was designated when first registering.
- Upload Logo: This option allows the user to replace the TRAKnet logo in the upper left-hand corner of the portal with one custom to the practice. Click Choose File, browse to the image, and click OK to upload this file.
- Header Color: This option allows the user to change the header, or menu bar, color. It defaults to orange. Note: Please be sure to select a color that allows the white font to still be visible.
- Body Color: This option allows the user to change the background color of the body of the website. It defaults to white. Note: Please be sure to select a color that allows the black font to still be visible.
- Announcement: This field allows the user to enter a brief message that will display in the lower right-hand corner of the patient portal. This can fit 100 characters.
- After you have completed customizing your patient portal, click the Save button to close the Edit Account screen and return to the main screen of the patient portal.
- You may also upload practice forms to your portal that will allow patients to download and complete certain documentation prior to arriving at the office. To accomplish this, select a patient who is already registered to the account. Once the patient’s information opens, click Forms, and select Create New (see below) to upload any .pdf file. Once uploaded, all patients will be able to access this form.
